Busy Thursday - part 1 - Women´s T-shirt into Kids Dress

It´s been a while since I was in front of my sewing machine and when I finally started sewing again this morning (Thursday mornings are usually our lazy-pj-mornings), I realized how much I´ve missed it! And it ended up being a pretty productive morning (3 projects!).

Here is the quick project I´ve started with:

A few weeks ago, we went to Monterey and I got this t-shirt in one of those countless gift shops. I didn´t get it for myself, but for my daughter to turn it into a dress. 

By simply going around the sides and sleeves with my serger, I trimmed it down to her size. I also cut off 5 inches at the bottom and finished the hem with a nice cover stitch. Done!
