The Pirate Shirt

I´ve picked up a couple of shirts at a yard sale to re-use them for some DIY projects I had in mind. The pirate shirt is one of these projects: 

 

If you want to do your own, here is how: 
First you turn your shirt inside out and pin the pirate fabric (or whatever you want to show) face down on the shirt. Next you turn your shirt right side out and draw your outlines on the front using chalk to mark where you want to sew. 

Now, sew both parts together!

After those steps your shirt should look like that.

Next, you cut out your fabric inside the seam.

 It is that easy!
