DIY Preschool Name Tags

Next week will be THE WEEK: My little boy will start preschool. I am very excited for him (and for myself). Here is a little project that I made this morning to label his lunch bag, backpack, and (later in the year) his coat. 

After a few difficulties with my embroidery unit, I managed to get at least this done:

Put a piece of batting in the middle. 

Next, sew roughly around the future edges of the name tags. 

Cut, add snaps, done!

Not one of my prettiest work, but it will do the job.
